Overview

Looking for an exciting day tour not too far out of Dublin? Look no further, this tour travels less than an hour out of Dublin, to Enniskerry in Wicklow. For the first stop we will visit Powerscourt Estate and Gardens. 

After you have explored Powerscourt Estate, we will travel down the road to Powerscourt Waterfall, the second-tallest waterfall in Ireland. The perfect spot for a picnic and walk through the valley. 

All entrance fees are included, feel free to bring lunch or purchase it along the way.

Itinerary

09:15 am: DEPART DUBLIN

10:45 am: Powerscourt House and Gardens 

Relax and enjoy the beautiful mountain views as you drive through Wicklow to Powerscourt. A large country estate, most known for it spectacular surrounding gardens, covering 47 Acres. Powerscourt Estate was originally a 13th-century castle and was extensively altered during the 18th century by German architect, Richare Cassels. Take time here to explore the house and the elegant surrounding gardens.

12:50 pm: Powerscourt Waterfall 

A highlight of the trip for some, Powerscourt Waterfall, is Ireland's second tallest waterfall,  located at the base of the Glensoulan Valley on the River Dargle. Powerscourt is overlooked by the peaks of Djouce and Maulin. Powerscourt Waterfall flow continuously all year round in a horsetail-fan pattern. You have plenty of time here to explore the waterfall and take a walk through the Valley.

  • Charging cable and power bank to keep your devices charged (some buses do have charging ports but not all)

  • Spending money / credit card to pick up souvenirs & tip your driver!

  • Appropriate shoes for walking on rough terrain

Cancellation policy

You are entitled to a full refund only if you give us a minimum of 24 hours’ notice of your intention to cancel.

If you cancel your day tour within 24 hours you can choose to change your tour to another date (subject to availability).

If you are late for the bus in the morning or are a no show, you are not entitled to a refund and will be charged in full for the tour.

A minimum number of 6 passengers is required to operate a tour. We give until 3pm the day prior to the tour to reach this number and will then contact customers with details of cancellation.
